~The droids were excellent at their function. They sped noiselessly from shadow to shadow, gathering data while there master watched there progress on vid screens. Normally he would have scoped out the ship himself, but he had other matters to attend to. Matters that would make Goto's fall easier to bring about. Although he liked the challenge of assassinating so important a figure, he had to look ahead, to what he would do once he took over. Xath grinned in satisfaction. He'd be sure to hide from his prey the fact that the predator was a child of the Force. And the kill would come only after he'd driven his prey to madness. Yes...Xathos was quite satisfied.~

GOTO sat in his office as usual, doors blocked by a huge army of identical top-of-the-line assassin droids. The HK-50 models at that. He worked diligently on entering his days findings in his datapad and figuring when would be the next time to intercept one of Motta's freighters.

~Xathos's droids, their programming made by Xath himself, set to work. In short time they found a ventilation shaft carelessly left open by maintenance personel. Careful to spry laser detecting mists every few feet the droids used the vents to scope out most of the ships lower levels. Time being of the essence, they skipped the rest of the rooms and headed directly for Goto's office. There they landed and initiated their recording and transmitting protocols. Time to see how Goto ran his business.~

There wasn't really much to see in GOTO's office. Just an army of assassin droids and a few holocrons around the room. There was some holo-transmitting equipment in the corner, the place where he sent out all of his messages and threats. But that was about it.

~The droids took pictures and video recordings of the whole room, encrypting them onto chips inside their chasis. Somewhat dissapointed all but two of them left, those two staying behind in case something did happen. The rest of the droids whirred about the ship as secretively as possible, gathering as much data as they could before their inevitable capture. That was the most interesting part of their mission, gather data until they were captured. Xath knew that if GOTO found out that he was being watched he would become more paranoid than ever, just what Xath wanted.~

GOTO got up from his desk, sighing heavily and walking towards the door. "I think I'm going to turn in, men. Keep watch and don't awake me unless someone gets through." The droids exchanged odd looks. "Humor, you hunks of metal. There's nothing outside of the Force itself that could get in here." He laughed in heavy gaffahs all the way down the hall and to his room.

~Xathos grinned in satisfaction as the first droid slunk silently to the floor, still twicthing from the severed motor skills chip. Silent as shadow he snuck up to the next one and again slammed the ion charged knife into its central core. This was all too easy.~

GOTO had long since fallen asleep, the hums of his ship singing him an overconfident lullaby.

~Xathos had dropped well over two dozen guards before he was spotted. He knew this was where the overt fighting would begin, the security droids here were equipped with 360 degree heat sensig equipment. With a high pitched wine the ion grenade blasted them against the wall, decimating their circutry.~ "Let the game begin. May the best star win."

The ship itself set off an all out assault of grenades and blaster shots. Carbon scoring litered the floor and walls of the ship as it groaned from the power of it's own attacks.
